NEU Ski for Claude — Terms of Use

1. Provider and scope

These terms cover the NEU Ski connector for Claude, the NEU Ski plugin for Claude and their associated resort dashboard and trip planner (together, the “Service”). The provider is Guillem Bruix Barcelo, a self-employed professional established in Spain, trading as NEU Ski (“NEU”, “we”, “us”).

The Service is delivered by an independent NEU server and does not require a NEU account. The NEU trip planner for ChatGPT has its own terms at https://www.neuski.xyz/en/plugin-terms-of-use.

The separate NEU iOS application, Claude and third-party services have their own applicable terms. These terms do not replace them. NEU is an independent service and is not operated by Anthropic. Availability within Claude, including a listing in Claude's connector or plugin directory, does not mean that Anthropic guarantees NEU's information or third-party services.

2. What the Service does

The Service helps users explore ski resorts, express trip preferences and prepare informational trip suggestions. In Claude it shows published resort statistics, photos, highlights and external links, and a trip planner that prepares a planning brief. The plugin adds instructions that help Claude use the connector. Maps, webcams, weather forecasts and 3D previews are available on the linked NEU web pages.

Some functions depend on Claude and third-party availability. Sending the planning brief to a conversation requires a Claude client that supports interactive apps. In clients that cannot display them, such as Claude Code, the Service returns its information as text.

We do not accept hotel reservations, sell lift passes, issue insurance policies, process payments, operate ski resorts or provide emergency assistance through the Service. An enquiry, preference selection or trip proposal is not a confirmed booking, insurance contract or offer of guaranteed availability.

3. Eligibility and acceptable use

You must meet Claude's applicable age and account requirements. The Service is not directed to children.

Use the Service lawfully. Do not attempt to bypass access restrictions, disrupt the Service, introduce malicious instructions or code, access another person's information, or misuse third-party content. Provide only information necessary for planning. Do not enter passwords, payment-card data, government identifiers, medical diagnoses or unnecessary information about children.

You are responsible for reviewing your preferences and proposed itinerary before acting on them.

4. Information quality and changing conditions

Resort statistics and descriptions may be published reference data rather than current operating information. Some content can be unavailable, incomplete, delayed or drawn from a labelled fallback snapshot. Weather forecasts and webcam images are provided by external sources and are not guarantees of actual conditions at a particular place or time.

AI-generated trip suggestions may contain errors. Verify dates, transport, border and entry requirements, opening hours, lift and piste status, snow conditions, prices and availability directly with the relevant operator before travelling or paying. Unless explicitly identified and supported by a current source, the Service does not provide live prices or live availability.

5. Mountain safety and map limitations

Maps and 3D previews are planning aids. They are not certified navigation, avalanche-safety, rescue or emergency tools. They do not replace local signage, official warnings, piste closures, weather assessments, qualified instruction or professional advice.

Choose activities suitable for your ability and conditions, comply with resort rules and obtain appropriate equipment and cover. Do not use the interface while skiing or driving when doing so would distract you. In an emergency, contact the local emergency services or resort patrol directly.

6. External links, affiliation and insurance information

The Service may contain links to NEU's iOS application and external hotel, insurance or other relevant providers. Some hotel and insurance links are affiliate links, and NEU may earn a commission from an attributed transaction. Hotel links can include the travel dates you chose so the search opens with them.

External providers determine their own prices, eligibility, availability, booking conditions, cancellation terms, privacy practices and contractual obligations. Any contract or payment is between you and the relevant provider under its terms. The presence of a link does not guarantee suitability or availability.

If an InterMundial discount or referral code such as NEUSKI10 is displayed, its validity, territorial scope, eligible products and final application must be confirmed with InterMundial. A displayed promotion is not a guarantee that a particular user or transaction qualifies. The Service does not assess your insurance needs, determine eligibility or provide personalised insurance advice. Read the policy wording, exclusions, activity limits and territorial coverage directly with the insurer or authorised distributor.

References to the NEU iOS application do not mean that all app features are available in Claude. Any separate app purchase or subscription is governed by the applicable app and platform terms.

7. Charges

The current Service does not charge a separate NEU fee or take payment within the connector or plugin. Any applicable Claude plan charges and any purchases you independently make from external providers or through the NEU iOS application are separate. Any future change to charges for this Service will require appropriate notice and compliance with platform rules and applicable law; it will not create a charge merely because you used an earlier free version.

8. Intellectual property and third-party materials

NEU branding, software and content are protected by applicable rights. You may use the Service for its intended purpose. No ownership rights are transferred to you.

The plugin's instruction files are published under the MIT License in its GitHub repository, https://github.com/wuops/neu-ski-claude-plugin. That licence covers those files only. It does not cover the NEU server, resort data, images, branding or other NEU content, which remain subject to this section.

Resort logos, photos, map data, weather content, webcams and other third-party materials remain subject to their owners' rights and applicable licences. Respect visible attribution and do not remove notices or use materials beyond the permissions granted by the relevant rights holder. These terms do not expand permissions for third-party content.

9. Privacy

Our separate NEU Ski for Claude Privacy Policy, available at https://www.neuski.xyz/en/claude-privacy-policy, explains the processing associated with the Service. Claude and external providers process information under their own applicable policies. Acceptance of these terms is not consent to optional advertising tracking.

10. Availability, changes and suspension

We may maintain, correct or update the Service and its content. Functions can change or become unavailable because of technical issues, provider changes or platform restrictions. Where appropriate or legally required, we will give notice of material changes.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks or legal requirements. This does not remove rights you have under applicable law. We may update these terms prospectively, with appropriate notice for material changes; changes will not retrospectively remove mandatory rights.

11. Responsibility and mandatory rights

We will provide the Service with the care required by applicable law. Subject to that law, informational content and third-party availability cannot be guaranteed to be complete, accurate, uninterrupted or suitable for every trip.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, personal injury or mandatory consumer guarantees. Nothing removes your statutory consumer rights. Responsibility for third-party services is determined by applicable law and the relevant contractual relationship; this section is not a blanket exclusion of NEU's own legal obligations.

12. Applicable law, disputes and contact

These terms are governed by Spanish law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections that apply under the law of their habitual residence. Disputes may be brought before the courts competent under applicable law, including any mandatory consumer jurisdiction. These terms do not require a consumer to waive those protections or agree to binding arbitration.
