NEU Ski for Claude — Privacy Policy

1. Scope and controller

This policy covers the NEU Ski connector for Claude, the NEU Ski plugin for Claude and their associated resort dashboard and trip planner (together, the “Service”). It does not describe the separate NEU iOS application's data practices, or the NEU website, which has its own cookies and processing. The NEU trip planner for ChatGPT has its own privacy policy at https://www.neuski.xyz/en/plugin-privacy-policy.

The Service is delivered by an independent NEU server, which Claude reaches at https://neu-ski-mcp.vercel.app/claude/mcp. It works without a NEU account and without signing in to NEU.

The controller for the processing described as ours is Guillem Bruix Barcelo, a self-employed professional established in Spain, trading as NEU Ski (“NEU”, “we”, “us”).

Anthropic operates Claude and Claude Code and processes information under its own applicable terms and privacy policy. Our control over information in NEU's systems is different from Anthropic's control over Claude conversations and account information.

2. Information processed

Planning preferences. The trip planner processes the destination or resort, dates, ski duration, group type and size, skill level, sport, budget and currency, transport preferences, optional departure city, accommodation preferences and requested services. An optional free-text field lets you add special requirements; anything you type there is processed as part of your preferences. Resort searches, resort identifiers and interface language are also processed to provide the relevant information.

Provide only information necessary for your trip. Do not include children's names or dates of birth, medical diagnoses, payment-card details, identification documents, passwords or other sensitive information in optional fields. You may leave optional fields blank. We do not need precise GPS tracking or access to your NEU iOS activity history for this Service.

Claude interactions. When you use the Service, Claude sends tool requests to the NEU server to fulfil what you ask. These can include a resort search, a resort identifier, the interface language and, for the trip planner, the trip preferences you have described or entered. The NEU server uses them only to prepare its response and does not store them. If you press “Send to chat”, the planner asks Claude to post the planning brief as your next message; Claude may decline, in which case you can copy the brief yourself. The Service does not retrieve your conversation history or your other chats.

The resort dashboard and trip planner read Claude's display settings, such as the light or dark theme, fonts and screen layout, only to match Claude's appearance. This information stays in Claude and is not sent to NEU.

The Claude plugin. The NEU Ski plugin contains only written instructions (skills) that tell Claude how to use the connector, and the address of the NEU server. It runs no NEU code on your device and collects nothing itself. If you install it in Claude Code from its GitHub repository, GitHub provides the download under its own terms; NEU sees only the aggregate, anonymous traffic statistics that GitHub gives repository owners.

Technical information. To deliver the Service, our hosting provider, Vercel, processes technical request information. This can include IP address, request time, the requested URL path, request headers such as the client user agent, response status and execution time, and is used for delivery, security and diagnostics. The NEU server code does not record the content of tool requests and only logs short error messages when something fails. The Service does not use sign-in, does not read or set cookies, and does not receive your Claude account details. These are infrastructure records, not a NEU advertising profile.

Support information. If you contact us, we process your contact details, message, relevant correspondence and any information you choose to provide. Avoid sending passwords, payment details or unnecessary sensitive information.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We process information to:

• provide requested resort information, maintain the trip planner, and support the preparation of a trip proposal; where applicable, this is necessary to provide the service you request or take steps at your request before a contract;
• answer enquiries and resolve reported problems; the basis is providing the requested service or our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, depending on the request;
• operate, secure and troubleshoot the Service and prevent misuse; the basis is our legitimate interest in maintaining a reliable and secure service, subject to applicable safeguards and your rights;
• meet applicable legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims, where necessary.

Where a particular optional activity requires consent, we will request it separately before that processing. Merely using the Service is not treated as consent to advertising or non-essential tracking.

4. Storage, analytics and cookies

The trip planner keeps your answers only in its memory while it is open. NEU has no saved-trip database and does not store your answers in localStorage, sessionStorage or IndexedDB. Closing the planner clears that draft, but this does not delete information already sent to Claude, which may keep tool results and planner content as part of your conversation under Anthropic's policies, or held in hosting records.

The dashboard and planner contain no advertising pixel, analytics service or embedded third-party content. They load images only from www.neuski.xyz, run no external scripts and make no other network requests. The iOS application's AppsFlyer, Meta and RevenueCat integrations are not part of the Service.

The Service does not set cookies. Affiliate destinations and the NEU website pages you choose to open may use their own cookies or similar technologies under their own policies.

5. Recipients and external services

Information is disclosed only as relevant to providing the Service or meeting a legal requirement:

• Anthropic / Claude: conversation content, submitted planning context and tool interactions in Claude and Claude Code. See https://www.anthropic.com/legal/privacy.
• Hosting: the Service runs on infrastructure provided by Vercel Inc. in the United States. Requests are received at Vercel's nearest edge location and processed in the United States. Vercel processes technical request information to operate the Service on our behalf, under its terms and privacy policy: https://vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
• GitHub: hosts the plugin's public repository, from which Claude Code users can install it, under its own privacy statement: https://docs.github.com/en/site-policy/privacy-policies/github-general-privacy-statement.
• NEU content: resort images shown in the dashboard and planner are loaded from www.neuski.xyz. Maps, webcams, weather forecasts and 3D previews are not shown inside Claude; the Service links to NEU web pages, which have their own providers and processing.
• Support providers: the email and contact-form services used to receive and handle your enquiry, currently hosted by HostGator.
• Affiliate and booking destinations: when you follow an external hotel or insurance link, its destination and any redirect or attribution service receive the information associated with that visit. Hotel links currently use trip.tpo.li redirects; insurance links lead to InterMundial. Their own privacy policies apply.

If you chose travel dates, Trip.com hotel links include your check-in and check-out dates so the search opens with them. Hotel links never include your free-text requirements, budget, group details or contact details. Links contain referral identifiers so a provider can attribute a visit or transaction to NEU, and we may receive an affiliate commission. We do not sell planning answers or use them to build advertising audiences.

Independent providers may act as separate controllers for their own services. Providers acting on our behalf must be covered by appropriate contractual arrangements where required.

6. Retention

• Unsubmitted planner answers: the planner's memory while it is open; NEU keeps no trip-planning record.
• Information submitted to Claude: retained under the applicable Anthropic product, account, conversation and workspace settings and policies. We do not set a separate NEU deletion period for your Claude conversation.
• Hosting and diagnostic records: Vercel keeps the Service's runtime logs for about one hour on our current plan, with access restricted to us. Vercel may keep separate security and operational records under its own policies. We do not export these logs to any other service.
• Support enquiries: we delete or irreversibly anonymise routine support correspondence within 12 months after the enquiry is closed. Necessary records may be retained separately, with restricted access, for applicable legal obligations or legal claims, and deleted when that justification ends.
• Third-party embedded and affiliate services: their own retention policies apply to their independent processing. This does not remove our responsibilities for processing under our control.

7. International processing

Service providers may process information outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. The NEU server is processed in the United States by Vercel, which is certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK and Swiss extensions; transfers to Vercel rely on that framework. Other providers, such as Anthropic for Claude and GitHub for the plugin repository, process information under their own arrangements. You can contact us for information about safeguards relevant to our processing.

8. Your choices and rights

You can leave optional answers blank, edit preferences before sending them, stop using the planner, and decide whether to open external providers. You can disconnect the NEU Ski connector or remove the plugin at any time. Manage Claude history and applicable data controls through your Anthropic account or workspace; clearing the NEU planner does not clear your chat.

Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent for processing that actually relies on consent, without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact [email protected]. We may request only the information reasonably necessary to verify and address your request.

You may complain to a competent supervisory authority, including the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), https://www.aepd.es/. Rights apply subject to applicable legal conditions. Contacting NEU cannot by itself delete records independently controlled by Anthropic or another provider, but we will explain the relevant route where possible.

9. Children, security and automated decisions

The Service is not directed to children. Claude's own minimum age and account requirements apply. An adult planning a family trip should provide only the minimum non-identifying information needed about children.

We use reasonable measures appropriate to the information and risks, including HTTPS delivery and access restrictions for operational information. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Trip suggestions are informational. The Service does not itself make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects, determine insurance eligibility, process bookings or take payments.

10. Updates and contact

We will update this policy when relevant functionality or data practices change and revise the effective date. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law. Questions and rights requests: [email protected].
